The following happened in April, 2015
Today, after first going to the War Tunnel Museum I visited Vrelo Bosne, the spring of the river Bosna, located in a beautiful park just outside Sarajevo.
The park was not maintained much during the war and many of the trees were used as firewood by the local population. Maintaining a park is not the biggest priority for people during a war.
In the year 2000 the park was restored to its former glory and it really is beautiful.
The park can be reached by taking tram number 3 to Ilidža, and from there it is about a twenty minute walk. Alternatively you can choose to be ridden in a horse and carrige.
